Of course, this movie had a lot of publicity and the film can meet .... Yada Yada Yada. Even considering that this movie is a bit of a disappointment. This film shows that more than special effects are fun to watch Star Wars. It is as if George Lucas was so excited I could do with CGI effects that he forgot what the original trilogy so great writing and characters. Not a bad movie, but the problems are many.-Many people have forgiven this movie was mediocre to say this is just the first of another trilogy, and getting all follow. WRONG WRONG WRONG, this movie had to be his first film, the other three films. Must have good characters and some interesting history .... Conflict is not., This story revolves around a labor dispute and the fate of the planet Naboo. Has anyone really cares about that? Details of the dispute are somewhat vague, and it is found not true generate enough interest for us to cheer for a particular team. Major conflict concerning Darth Sideous and its rise remains very much in the background. We do not even know why the Jedi Darth Maul hates so much .... it just works. It is possible that Luke wanted Darth Maul to be something like Boba Fett (silent and mysterious). We worked with Boba Fett, because he was only a supporting character, not a criminal. This film really does not have a clear villain. I wish someone had the courage and only Luke said his story is basic bad. No one seems particularly happy in this film. Qui-Gon is really the only guy who can relate to, and even quite distant. Queen acting as puppets in most of his scenes (and looks). Obi-Wan Kenobi walks you through the entire movie was and never say anything interesting. The characters do not seem to talk about anything except the plot (unlike the first film). C3PO and R2-D2 is pretty useless. Jedi Council comes across as extremely cold buracratic. I'll never understand why they were written Annakin as a young elementary school in this film. There was supposed to be a teenager. His scenes with the queen were clumsy. Even Jar Jar.Various discussed other things ... The midochlorians just makes added. Humor falls flat unless it is a very young child. Anakin destroys office building in the end and basically safves mistake! George Lucas and ILM seem so happy with their new toys CGI spent 95% of their time to help them improve. Honestly I thought FX Return of the Jedi were sharper, more dimensional and less cartoonish. None of this seems to happen here memorable. This film may not be as good as the hype, but it could easily be much better than that. I waited so long for this movie, but I first saw this film is actually a boring environment it.There are a good time. The race was the fun, as saber fighting end. There are some very good special effects throughout. I hope Luke just writer's block when he wrote it. We may not remember what he did for the other movies, so good at the time of Episode II. Although the title seems to have failed already.
